So the 3+ month long writers strike is over. Now we can get back to some TV, or can we. The Washington Post made a list of shows that are likely to have more new episodes this season.  Names in bold are shows I watch.

I fell in love with House after Kim made me watch it with her. I have to say its one of the best shows on TV this season. It would be a toss up for me to choose between “How I Met Your Mother” and “House“. Anyway, I really like tonights show. I liked how House interacted with all the the potential team mates. He is a complicated charter and its awesome to see how other react to him. Everyone reacted different, and that alone made tonights episode so great. Anyway I love this show and can’t wait till next Tuesday.

If you didn’t know the TV series Jericho was canceled last week by CBS. This was a great show, and many people were upset about the cancellation. If you were a fan than you know what NUTS! means. If not let me break it down for you. A Jericho character, Jake, said NUTS! when New Bern’s commander asked him to surrender. The reason for the crazy answer was because of a story his grandfather had told him. The was about the final scene in the season and made the scene very powerful.

What does all this have to do with the cancellation of the show. Well a website that sells nuts has put up a Jericho page where you can spend a few bucks and have Nuts sent to CBS. In the last few days they have sent over 5500 lbs of Nuts to CBS in New York. If you want to join the fight head on over to Nuts! Online have you Nuts sent to CBS.

By the way, CBS has said they are going to find some way to offer closure to the show. That usually means some shitty TV movie or something. This effort is to get the show back on the air.

UPDATE:  Looks as though the 5,000 lbs mark is about to be reached.  Damn thats a lot of nuts.  Maybe CBS will get the point and we will have our Jericho back.

Check out what CBS is planning to do in order to promote its fall TV lineup. It sounds like a cool idea, but what I’m scared of, is when you combine bluetooth with RFID tags. Then you will have a coke machine giving you an ad to buy coke over your bluetooth headset, so maybe while you are on hold you get an ad. I mean really, do we need so many damn ads in the country. Can anyone actually name an ad that as of lately prompted you to buy something you wouldn’t normally buy. I can’t.

Here is a new hack out there for everyone. It’s not easy to do, but you can crack the DRM on songs bought from ITunes 6. Yay we finally have fair use again.

South Park is now apparently being use as torture Iraq. I don’t know if this is true or not, but does it really matter. What a great and funny Idea.

Nip/Tuck is might be taking on scientology (not capitalized because the word doesn’t deserve it) in the upcoming season. Check out this statment form Tvguides Ask Ausiello.
