Reading my RSS feeds today I came across this story on TechCrunch.  Basically saying the Top 10 Viral Videos of this year are not really viral videos at all.  They are produced content that many people have watched.  So I guess the question is: What is a viral video?

When I hear viral video, I think of it as a video made by an individual, that has become a hit around the web.  I don’t think about Michael Jackson: Thriller being a viral video.  Doesn’t a viral video need to be new?  For me, there is a switch in my brain that says “Hey this is a viral video.”  This has never happened when watching a music video.  With a music video I see an add for music, I see produced content that cost millions to make.  I don’t care how many times people watch a music video its just not viral.

Recently it has come to my attention that women don’t listen to men.  We can tell them exactly what another man is doing and how the game is played, but they still don’t listen.  It’s like even if we reveal the secrets to the games we play, they will still play the game.  I don’t understand it.  If a man breaks up with you for another chick, but still keeps talking to you telling you he doesn’t know whats going to happen and he is confused.  He isn’t confused he is playing you, he wants you to keep you as his backup plan in case things don’t work out.  If a man gets caught talking dirty to another chick then leaves you for said chick, he already banged her.  If he said he is sorry things got a little heated last night it won’t happen again.  It will happen again and he knows it.

Maybe I’m the only guy who releases these secrets, maybe I have been breaking some man secret code.  In any case it doesn’t matter, women still play the game.  Its like they can’t believe we would do this to them.

Also, DON’T TALK TO EXs! Nothing ever good comes from talking to exs.  I’m sorry, I’ve done it, it doesn’t work.  You always feel like crap.  Doesn’t matter if you break it off, or if they do.  You arn’t together anymore, it brings up those feelings and they suck.  Or! They treat you like crap, one way or another.  I just really think its a bad idea.  I know many people who will argue me over this, but its how I feel, and how I think everyone should feel.

Women are stupid.  Women are crazy.

Alright, lets see, womendont’ listen, They are stupid and crazy, and don’t talk to EXs.  I think that pretty much sums up my rant about women today.  Sorry if I offended anyone, didn’t mean to.  I tried not to use derogatory terms, but if I did, remember this is a ran.

• Come on Facebook, you have had this OpenID thing for about a month now, and you still haven’t fixed the delegation part.  It’s like one of the basic parts of OpenID.  How could you even go live with this broke, little alone spend a month not fixing it?
• Screw you gtkpod.  What does “save selected as playlist” do for me, if I can’t pull said playlist back into my iPod!  While I’m at it, screw you Apple!  Why do you need to make everything more difficult?  You use tons of open-source software, yet you still say, “Use iTunes if you want to manage your iPod”.  I’m about sick of iPods, and probably wont get another if I find something that works better under Linux.
• I’m confused by acquaintances/family that want to be friends on Facebook.  I post to twitter all day and they get displayed on Facebook, I’m not sure how I feel about these people seeing these updates.  I mean they are open to everyone, but I don’t want to accept these people as friends, then it’s like saying “Yes!!! You are my friend, here is everything about me.”  Where as if they would subscribe to my tweets, I probably wouldn’t even know it.

Sorry all these things kind of came up at once, and I needed to write them down.  The iPod thing has been pissing me off for about a week now, I even tried Rockbox and hated it (post coming up about this).
