I ended last year, hoping this one would be better with work, relationships, and in general.  I’m pretty sure looking back on it, other than work this last year was worse.  Relationships were crazy and overall not good for anyone.  In general it had some good things and a lot bad things.  I can say for sure it won’t be a year I’m likely to forget.

List of things that happen this year:

• Saw at least 16 movies in the theater.
• A very close family member passed away.
• Went to see Dave Anderson a bunch.
• Mog and I had  6 Holiday Parties in one day.
• Found out RedBox is great.
• Got two cakes made for my birthday!
• Had a couple crazy “things” with chicks.
• Found pictures of me from high school.
• One of the first to discover the re-birth of Soul Burger.
• Went to Israel for a week and NYC for a couple hours.
• Saw Marcy Playground twice in one year.
• Went to Hawaii for a week.
• Went to Wisconsin for a week over Christmas.
• Helped Makers Local 256 grow and seceded as a hackerspace.

In the end, I hope this year is better.  Lets hope relationships arn’t as crazy as last year, and that all around it gets better.

With less than 24hrs to go, I think we can call this year done. I have officially not eaten Doritos for an entire year. It really wasn’t that hard, you know after the first few weeks. I really do miss Doritos and Pop Tarts for breakfast on lazy Sunday mornings (don’t judge me, its good). Lets see what else has gone on.

• Hit up the beach for one weekend.  That was nice.
• Kissed chicks I probably shouldn’t have.
• Helped Makers Local set up shop.
• Started Geocaching.
• Bought Fapp.com Fakepedia.info nottwitter.com and probably many more domains.
• Seen at least 23 movies in the theater.
• Went on a little Hot Air Balloon Ride.
• Started using Twitter….a lot
• Went to the Air Show in HSV
• Went to WI for the 4th of July and my Birthday
• Starting feeling old.
• Saw the Presidents of the USA in concert.
• Went to my first drive in movie ever.
• Figure out some chicks aren’t very nice.

Already next year is suppose to bring on a new job at work with better pay.  Here is to hoping next year is better than this one, with relationships, new pay, and an overall better feeling.

For a New Years resolution I decided to stop eating Doritos. Most of the time after eating Doritos my stomach gets sick. I know probably more information than you needed but hey I need to make my point, or else it would sound like I’ve been secretly addicted to Doritos and I’m taking pictures of the chips I crave so badly. See thats not it at all, I just have stopped eating Doritos because they make me sick. So this picture was taken at a Sub Way where I could have eaten the chips, but instead took a picture of the food I have craved for so long. I don’t think I can keep this up for ever, today day 22 I don’t see an end in sight. I’ll keep you updated when I run into the food I no longer eat. Till then I hope your New Years Resolutions have gone as well as mine.

This is the first Holiday Season in a few years that I haven’t had girlfriend to spend it with and it was pretty weird.  Many nights I fell asleep thinking of old girlfriends and weird things like that.  So today I was fairly happy to go back to work and move on with the new year.  But I thought I had better take a look back on the Christmas Holiday anyways.

I was off work since the 22nd.  Most of the time was spend just sitting around the house being lazy.  Although I did get a few things done as well a a few presents.

• Made the first version of JimBot, and IRC bot.
• Put all my DVD’s in a spread sheet, with IMDB links.
• Got new tires on my car
• Figured out how to share my Airport card with my XBox.
•  Got a few shirts for Christmas
• Also got money, which will be used for school.
• Played with Wiimote White Board and head tracking.
• Started using KeePass for storing all my passwords.  Its cross platform.

Mostly I just spend the time off being lazy.  It was great, but I am happy to be back to normal life.

Well goodbye 2005, and hello 2006. Can you believe that a decade ago it was 1996. Wow, that’s all I can say. Lets take a look at what happen in 2005.

1. July 5 – Dolly the sheep, the first mammal to be successfully cloned from an adult cell, is born. It will prematurely die in February 2003. (I remember seeing this on the cover of “People”)
2. July 17 – Off the coast of Long Island, New York, a Paris-bound Boeing 747 carrying TWA flight 800 explodes killing all 230 on board. (I remember watching this when ABC broke into regular broadcasting and had a live feed)
3. Duke Nukem 3D Shareware released to public (great game)

Those are some of the things I found on Wikipedia. Its just hard to believe that I can remember what happen a decade ago. I hope you all have a great New Year and hope last night was fun and safe for everyone.
