I want to be Sara Neale
by Nathan on Sep.07, 2010
A (dead to me) friend wrote a post where she looked up the results of “I want to be x” in Google. Reading this post I noticed that she searched for herself. So I thought I would make her feel good and have at least one result come up.

Facebook — Privacy Issue or Fun Stalking Tool
by Nathan on Sep.06, 2006
Oogaly boogaly boo!
Now on to a rant about privacy and Facebook
Yesterday Facebook.com released a new feature which they call news feed. Basically its an embedded rss reader that tells you what has changed on your friends profile. Also they added a small one to each persons profile. Now we can look at this with two different views.
- This is an invasion of privacy. Which I can see, and the view is all well and good, except for the fact that you put your information on the site for others to see. The people looking at the news feed can see what the news feed it telling them by going to your profile.
- This is a tool that can be used to make stalking easier. The only thing I can say to that is YES!, and what is your point. Could that stalker not just go to your profile and get the same information? The answer YES!
If you use Facebook as so many do, you notice that there are people with thousands of friends. Those are the people saying statement 1. This could easily be solved by those people only having friends they are…..FRIENDS WITH!!!! Facebook could dumb there site down to deal with these assholes by making a tiered list of friends. Like “Best Friend”, “Good Friend”, “Acquaintance”, or Facebook could make the news feed an optional tool. But fuck that. Then your so called private info wouldn’t show up to acquaintance. Then there are people that are bitching about the stalking. Lets first look at the word stalker, or in this case stalking (Stalking is a legal term for repeated harassment or other forms of invasion of a person’s privacy in a manner that causes fear to its target. ) So statement 2 is stating the something as statement 1. So as I see it, three things can happen,
- 1. People can cut down the number of friends they have, to only FRIENDS!!!
- 2. Facebook can change there site to accommodate assholes like these
- 3. There assholes can take there shit somewhere else
My vote goes for 3.
I’m not good at poker
by Nathan on Aug.13, 2006
First, I wanted to say that I have been seeing an awesome girl by the name of Kim. Thought you all might want to know that since this post is about playing poker with some of her friends.
So last night Kim and I want to play poker with some of her friends. What a great time I had, and what a great way to lose $3. Her friends were really cool people. Just hanging out drinking playing cards, it doesn’t seem special but its far better than the drama that used to be my ex’s friends. So needless to say, I liked hanging out with these people and they really made me feel like I fit in. Anyway on to the poker game. I bet everything I had which wasn’t much on 2 pair or 3′s and 5′s or something small like that, and was beat by 3 of a kind. So there I sat, chipless, and feeling like a looser. But I helped Kim stay in the game, to the end. She finished 3rd. She just sat there folding on like everything. She did a great job. The only think I wish is that my tumour wasn’t killing me and that I would have felt a lot better. All in all I had a wonderful time, and can’t wait to win my money back. Thanks Babe. **KISS**

Is my Birthday seeking the answers to life?
by Nathan on Jul.09, 2006
So Friday was my birthday. It was all of a normal day, School, Work, 2600 meeting, Bring Popcorn, then home. Have you ever looked back at your life. I mean like on your birthday or Christmas or New Years or something. Look back, and think about what you did a year before, or 5 years before on that very day. Well I have to say, when I look back, last year I saw myself happy and loving spending time with a special someone. I can’t seem to remember much about my birthday 5 years ago, but 6 years ago was when I got my drivers license. Also I remember meeting a girl by the name of Beverly (wow would be cool to talk to her again). Some birthdays stick out, some are rather normal. I have gone through 22 now, and hopefully 22 more will follow. But throughout those 22 birthdays, I can’t say for sure one was better than another. Life moves at rapid speeds, should we reflect of the past or just live life as it is dealt. I have yet to figure this out. Just living life with the hand your dealt is great, but in doing so do you miss out, do you miss out of things that need to be planned? Do you miss out on life because you haven’t looked back and decided how to deal with certain problems? But here is the real question, do you really want to know the answer to these questions?
