Throw the Mind [dot] Com » Bar http://throwthemind.com Tue, 07 Feb 2012 03:50:00 +0000 en hourly 1 http://wordpress.org/?v=3.2.1 Restroom Problem http://throwthemind.com/2009/10/05/restroom-problem/ http://throwthemind.com/2009/10/05/restroom-problem/#comments Mon, 05 Oct 2009 21:31:58 +0000 Nathan http://throwthemind.com/?p=896 The other night I headed down to The Koffee Klatch with some friends.  After sitting there for a few min, I needed to use the restroom.  I asked where it was, and proceed to that location.  It was down the stairs and to the right.  After taking the right I was giving the choice of two black doors.  Both had zero indication of which gender they were for.  I stood there for  a second trying to figure out what to do.  I decided I would just pretend like I was reading the news article on the wall and wait for someone else to go in or out of the doors.  After about 15 seconds, a man walked down the stairs, asked if I was waiting for the restroom, to which I replied “Nope go right a head”.  He turned around, stopped, then turned back and asked “which one is the mens room”.  In my head I’m thinking “great I get the one other guy that hasn’t been here either, what the hell are we going to do now”.  I jokingly replied “Hell if I know, was hoping you did”.  So we both just stood there for a few more seconds.  Finally someone else came down the stairs, saw us both standing there and asked if we were waiting for the restroom.  We asked him which one was the mens room and finally got our answer.  I was able to successfully relieve myself without the embarrassment of being in the wrong restroom.
