The other day a High School friend of mine posted some pictures on Facebook.  She tagged a few with me in them and I figured I would archive them on my website and let you all see them.  The fist picture is of me and the friend that posted the pics.  I think these are from the 99-00 school year.  so about 10 years ago.  It was very crazy to see.

We had a great weekend at the shop.  Friday was a Pirate Party, and Saturday was the open house. The open house went great, we had lots of great food, cool new people to hang out with, and projects were worked on.  Bob bought some crazy robots, Brian made T-Shirts, Matt worked on a crazy awesome iPod movie script, David grilled out, and new people showed up.  The open house was a great success and I can’t wait to do another one.

Friday was my last final….Math final at 8am…errr!!  But after that I headed to lunch with some friends, then on a 6hr drive to Dauphin Beach for the weekend.  Brian has a beach house down there, and Him, Ray, Greg and I went for the weekend.  Since I’m writing this post about 3 weeks later, I’ll just put a link to pic, and hopfully I’ll stay on top of posts more. :/

So last weekend was Memorial Day Weekend, which meant I didn’t have to work on Monday! Friday I went to the shop and worked on wiki stuff. Saturday was about the same. Sunday I stopped by while waiting for Tandy to get done with her other obligations. We had decided the night before to drive to Decatur for balloon rides. Although we didn’t get to go on a long ride we did get to go up in a hot air balloon.

I must say it is kind of freakish when your standing right next to a balloon and it starts filling up with hot air. They stand up and feel almost like they are going to fall over. But they don’t, they just stand there looking awesome. Then off they go riding the air waves. Its spectacular to see. I would have to say the coolest balloon we saw was the Energizer Bunny. I watched a discovery channel show about it a few months back. Apparently it is the worlds largest hot air balloon. Take a look at all the picture I took. It was a really fun day. My Flickr
