Zombieland

With a name like Zombieland, you might think this movie would be full of disgusting zombies trying to kill everyone and scare the audience. This isn’t exactly correct. Zombieland takes place a few months after the zombie apocalypse, and follows the story of a young nerdy man. He has rules on how to survive zombieland, and follows these rules to the letter. That is until he meets someone else who isn’t infected. The movie from there kind of turns into a road trip comedy, with a little love story built in.
This movies has some of the best zombie comedy since Shaun of the Dead. I wouldn’t call Zombieland a spoof like Shaun of the Dead, but it isn’t the kind of movie, where zombies are trying to scare the crap out of you. It’s more laid back, everyone in the movie has come to the realization that the Zombies are everywhere and they have to do what they can to survive. This includes kicking zombie ass, breaking thing, and just plain doing what they want.
This was by far the most entertained I have been at a movie in a long while. I would and probably will sit through this movie many more times.
