Ghost Rider, Cops, and Penn Jillette

Last night Kim and I went to see Ghost Rider. She loved the movie. I myself wanted to walk out a half hour after it started. The story wasn’t explained very well, and Nichols Cage was just not the man for that movie. But I guess it wasn’t so bad, since I did get to spend time with Kim.
Apparently once you leave Huntsville there are still cops out on the road. Last night on my way home, I was pulled over. The officer said I was doing 76mph in a 50mph zone. So I acted stupid like I didn’t know it was a 50 zone, and thought it was a 65mph area. Then the cop made a good point. He said “I don’t believe the speed limit is 76 anyway.” Which I responded “yes sir you make a good point.” Anyway he let me go without a ticket and told me to slow down and be careful. After that it was a long drive home at exactly 65mph.
As many of you know, I listen to Penn Jillette’s radio show every day. Well as of today he has officially called it quits. There will be no more Penn Radio on FreeFm. He did make mention of a return but who knows when that will be. My morning drive will not be the same. Oh well, off to a different podcast.

Congrats on getting out of a speeding ticket! Cops can be total dicks when it comes to giving tickets and not giving breaks. I imagined that with your car, they would have gone the extra bit and tried to screw you seven times sideways till Saturday sings several songs about sunny Sundays she sells sea shells by the seashore.

Yea, I saw Ghost Rider opening night. What a waste of $6 dollars. Gratz on getting out of a ticket.
