Blue Man Group
by Nathan on Feb.22, 2007, under Uncategorized
Monday night was the big Blue Man Group concert. What a blast Kim and I had. The seats I won were great. They were second row middle stage. Once we found the seats we got all settled in, then Mike Relm came on stage and started doing his crazy DJ stuff. It was awesome. You all have to check him out. I would guess there are probably videos of him on Youtube. Anyway after he was done it took a few minutes to started the show. But once it started there was no stopping those Blue Men. I laughed so hard I think I may have wet my self (not really). The whole concert was nonstop laughter. When the concert was over we went to the meet and greet. The Blue Man Group came out and got paint on everyone, and Mike Relm was out also. I asked him about his DJ setup, and yep as I suspected it was running off a mac. All in all Kim and I had one great night.

Lycos Deleted My Email Also!
by Nathan on Feb.02, 2007, under Uncategorized
So I heard about the shit with Lycos deleting email if an account hasn’t been login into in 30 days, and I decided to login to my account which I have had since about 1998. I wasn’t surprised to see my email had been deleted. But it did surprise me that the $19.95 charge was accurate. Here is a copy of the email I received.

Our IP logs and login records indicate that it’s been more than 30 days in
between logins for your account. As stated on our site, and in our Terms of

account is deleted.
This is our policy, which we are forced to enforce to ensure there’s room for
new, active members of our service.
To reactivate your account, all you need to do is log in as you normally
would, using your Lycos Mail user name and password. However, reactivating
your account will not restore your previous e-mails, address book, or blocked

Should you want to restore the previous contents of your account, you will
need to upgrade to the Lycos Mail Plus service, within 30 days of
deactivation. You can upgrade by logging in, and clicking “Options”, along
the left hand menu, then select “Membership Status”, and click the “Modify

available for Account Preservation upgrades), and follow the onscreen steps.
Lastly, it is very important that you respond to us, to let us know you have
upgraded. The restoration needs to be done by hand, and we will not know to
restore your account until you notify us that you’ve upgraded, and we verify
the upgrade.
Restoration is not available to members who do not upgrade, and our policy
will be strictly enforced. To have your account restored, you must upgrade,
and pay the $19.95 upgrade fee. This is non-negotiable.

What if Clocks Deceive Us.
by Nathan on Feb.01, 2007, under Uncategorized
I was thinking the other day about all the clocks I rely on. I have only 1 that doesn’t automatically update its self. My phone, computer, and alarm clock, all update them selfs. So then I started to think about what if the clocks got together and decided to deceive us. What if they decided to change the time all by themselves. It would totally fuck shit up. Just think about what would happen to you if you were say 2 hours late, the whole day. Now think about all the computers we rely on, and how they all rely on clocks. What if all those clocks fucked up also. I am telling you, if clocks ever get smart, we my as well call it a day and kill ourselves, because if we don’t hell we will have to pay.
