Got to work this morning, felt the thirst coming on strong, so I headed to the soda machine. There I inserted $1.25 and hit the Mountain Dew Code Red button. To my surprise Grapico came out. Can this be a good sign or a bad one, only time will tell.
- A picture of a wifi network, what a great idea. It would be cool if this could be converted into a screen saver.
- Would you like to become a Digg power user. Here is the guide for you. If you want to add me as a friend my Friend ID is “Greenfday6″
- This is a nice tutorial for doing some craziness in photoshop. I wish I could use photoshop better, but I guess thats why I have friends who are good with it.
- A list a great wordpress plugins is always nice to have. This list seems to be all there, with some great stuff I will have to implement once I get some time.
- This new Web2.0 app looks like it might be great. If I could only get a Calendar that was easy to use and had rss that updated everyday. Thats what I need. I check rss more than I check email, and if bills are due….boom rss tells me…what a way to organize.
- If you are still using Internet Explorer then click Here and see why you should change to Firefox.

Big Brother, Itunes, South Park and scientology
by Nathan on Aug.30, 2006, under Uncategorized
Check out what CBS is planning to do in order to promote its fall TV lineup. It sounds like a cool idea, but what I’m scared of, is when you combine bluetooth with RFID tags. Then you will have a coke machine giving you an ad to buy coke over your bluetooth headset, so maybe while you are on hold you get an ad. I mean really, do we need so many damn ads in the country. Can anyone actually name an ad that as of lately prompted you to buy something you wouldn’t normally buy. I can’t.
Here is a new hack out there for everyone. It’s not easy to do, but you can crack the DRM on songs bought from ITunes 6. Yay we finally have fair use again.
South Park is now apparently being use as torture Iraq. I don’t know if this is true or not, but does it really matter. What a great and funny Idea.
Nip/Tuck is might be taking on scientology (not capitalized because the word doesn’t deserve it) in the upcoming season. Check out this statment form Tvguides Ask Ausiello.
Question: Can you please pass along any new Nip/Tuck prattle? — Cara
Ausiello: I hear Kimber is going to pull a Tom Cruise and lure Matt into Scientology.
Thats all for today folks. If you want to know about the news I read you can visit my rss reader. You can even search, what a great resource.
Have a great Day….now I’m off to the Bar Tender Championships.

Pluto gets the boot
Looks as though our ninth planet, has just become….well nothing. We no longer can say our solar system is great and consists of nine planets…..What will we do. I say, so long Pluto, I loved you as a dog, but as a planet you were a cold heartless bitch. Get your shit together and maybe one day you will be known as our ninth planet again.
In loving memory or our once great ninth planet Pluto, so long old buddy…

Grandma Passed Away
by Nathan on Aug.21, 2006, under Uncategorized
Last week Monday, my grandma passed away. See she had a stroke back in March, then two weeks ago she had another. She lasted about a week after the last one. But she couldn’t swallow, and she had signed papers saying she didn’t want to be kept alive by help. So for a week she laid there and pretty much just dwindled away. I got to tell her I loved her and said my goodbyes on Tuesday after the last stroke. She responded as good as she could. I could tell then she wasn’t going to make it, so I got my peace while she was still alive. The funeral was on Thursday. My mother was really upset about the whole situation, and it escalated when she found out I wasn’t to be a pallbearer. She had enough and went and started a fist fight with Rose, pulling her hair, hitting her, and calling her a bitch, you know the basic girl fight. It was rather funny, and very emotional. People threatened to call the cops, so we (Sheila, Linda, and me) took mom to the car, where we got into another fight because I was going to say for the rest of the funeral. Because mind you, this all happen before the funeral actually took place at the viewing.
I wanted to say for the funeral, for the simple fact that I felt mom would like to know how it all went. I on the other hand didn’t even want to go in the first place. As I said I made my piece with her while she was still alive. So to make things easier on her I just decided to leave also.
.
I realize that many of you don’t know my personal life or care very much about it. Thats fine, but I realized that having something to look back on is rather fun to do. So really this post was more for me to look at years from now. Please don’t feel like you have to say your sorry, cause we both know that doesn’t mean anything to either of us.
I’m not good at poker
by Nathan on Aug.13, 2006, under Uncategorized
First, I wanted to say that I have been seeing an awesome girl by the name of Kim. Thought you all might want to know that since this post is about playing poker with some of her friends.
So last night Kim and I want to play poker with some of her friends. What a great time I had, and what a great way to lose $3. Her friends were really cool people. Just hanging out drinking playing cards, it doesn’t seem special but its far better than the drama that used to be my ex’s friends. So needless to say, I liked hanging out with these people and they really made me feel like I fit in. Anyway on to the poker game. I bet everything I had which wasn’t much on 2 pair or 3′s and 5′s or something small like that, and was beat by 3 of a kind. So there I sat, chipless, and feeling like a looser. But I helped Kim stay in the game, to the end. She finished 3rd. She just sat there folding on like everything. She did a great job. The only think I wish is that my tumour wasn’t killing me and that I would have felt a lot better. All in all I had a wonderful time, and can’t wait to win my money back. Thanks Babe. **KISS**
